How can I find a hearing date?

Criminal and civil matters are included on a Daily Law List that can be accessed via the Magistrates’ Court website. Click HERE to view it.

The electronic court list provides details of the date, time and location of hearings. You can search using the name of a party or details of the case. Matters listed up to six months ahead are shown.

If you wish to follow a case and be informed of any changes to hearing details, you can register for Case Tracking. This is the easiest way to keep up-to-date.

Please note: matters subject to suppression orders or applications for intervention orders are not included on the Daily List. Remand hearings may also not be included if the matter was added after the electronic list was updated the night before. For information on these, please email media@magistratescourt.vic.gov.au.
