Accident Compensation Act 1985. This practice direction regulates the process of inspection by a defendant to a proceeding of relevant medical and other records relating to the plaintiff having regard to Order 42A of the Magistrates Court General Civil Procedure Rules 2010 ("the Rules").

Civil Mediation Programme. The purpose of this Practice Direction is to extend the civil mediation program to the Court at Bendigo. This Practice Direction will commence from 2 January 2013.

Civil Mediation Programme. The purpose of this Practice Direction is to establish a pilot within the overall programme where certain civil proceedings are mediated by a single mediator.
Civil Mediation Programme. The purpose of this Practice Direction is to extend the pilot for six months and increase the amount for the damages claimed to $40, 000.
Civil Mediation Programme. The purpose of this Practice Direction is to extend the programme to the Court at Shepparton and Horsham.

Court 1, Melbourne Magistrates' Court.

The Chief Magistrate issues this Practice Direction pursuant to section 16A of the Magistrates Court Act 1989.

Gaol Orders. Information on the attached form will need to be provided to the Court for making a Gaol Order.

This Practice Direction will commence on 1 July 2012.

Early Neutral Evaluation

The early neutral evaluation pilot programme is now a permanent feature of the range of alternative dispute resolution processes.

Civil Mediation Programme. The purpose of this Practice Direction is to extend the civil mediation program to the Court at Korumburra. This Practice Direction will commence from 2 January 2013.
